The WS-259 chairman unit includes priority control, allowing the chairperson to switch off active delegate microphones whenever meeting management requires it.

Wireless communication operates across the 5.1–5.8GHz frequency range using 802.11a/n/ac Wave 2 technology. The units support 48kHz audio sampling and an 80Hz–16kHz frequency response for clear speech reproduction.
